Classic Car Rally Through the Sauna Area

Want to enjoy some peace and relaxation on the terrace of the Gastroscheune by the natural swimming lake? On September 26, this pleasure will be slightly dampened—but you’ll be rewarded with the sight of breathtaking classic cars and a great attention to detail. The Elbflorenz Rally will be visiting the region on September 25–26, 2026, and will wind its way along picturesque routes through the Ore Mountains and the Vogtland. Eibenstock will also be part of this sporting excursion, featuring well-restored cars and well over 100 participants. In addition to a short special stage on Eibenstock’s market square, the participants’ route will also head toward the Badegärten. Toward it? No, right through it—specifically, through the sauna area. On September 26, 2026, between 10:00 a.m. and approximately 11:15 a.m., over 100 classic cars will pass through the official rally checkpoint here at our natural swimming lake. 

The best way to enjoy this one-of-a-kind spectacle is with a cup of coffee or a cold drink on our outdoor terrace.

During the rally’s passage, access to the lounge area behind the Bojaren Sauna will be limited. Otherwise, there will be no restrictions on sauna operations—just an added bonus for all car enthusiasts.
